Banana Cake Recipe


  • Dola All Purpose Flour
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ¼ Cup Mala (Sour Milk)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • ¾ Cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • ¾ tbsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ½ Cup Margarine

  1. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas and add the Mala, eggs and vanilla essence. Whisk until it mixes well and put aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, caster sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and margarine and whisk.
  3. Pour the mixture of the ripe bananas into the bowl with the flour mixture. Whisk until you get a fine and consistent lather.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking tin and bake at 180 °C for 55- 60 mins. Let it Cool
  5. Enjoy with drink of your choice.
