Breakfast Chapatis with Shakshuka

For Chapatis:

  • 2 Cups Unga Wa Dola All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Cup Warm Milk
  • Masterchef Oil

For Shakshuka:

  • 2 Tbsp Masterchef Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 3 Blended Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Tbsp minced Garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp Paprika Powder

Instructions

For Chapati
  • In a bowl, add in flour, salt, sugar and ghee and mix well. Begin to add the warm milk in bits as you knead the flour for 5-7mins.
  • Apply some oil on the ready dough and let it rest for 15 mins.
  • Divide the dough in desirable sizes and roll into a thin circle. Apply oil and sprinkle some flour then fold to a square. Roll carefully into a square. Should be the thickness of your regular Chapati.
  • Place it on a hot pan, once the bubbles begin to appear, flip and begin to press with your spatula. Once nice and golden, flip, spread some oil, and flip again to cook till nice and golden.
  • Flip to cook on the other side. Repeat till all the squares are done.
Shakshuka
  • In a pan, add in onions and sauté, add in the rest of the ingredients and cook till the oil separates. Crack in your eggs, add in chopped coriander and cover till cooked to your desired perfection.
