Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup melted margarine/butter
  • 1/2 Cup warm milk
  • 1 Egg (Room Temperature)
  • 1 Tbsp Yeast
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder

For filling

  • 4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Cinnamon Powder

For Glazing

  • 3/4 Cup Condensed Milk

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, mix in milk, egg, yeast, and melted margarine/butter. Ensure the yeast is well incorporated.
  • Add in this mixture to the dry mixture and knead well. The result will be a sticky dough. Cover in a bowl and allow it to proof for 1 hour or double the size.
  • Roll to 1” thickness rectangle, spread margarine/butter and sprinkle the filling mixture (mix the sugar with the cinnamon powder). Roll over with the rolling pin so the filling sticks onto the dough.
  • Cut into 3” logs and place them on a baking tray. Cover to proof for 30 mins.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° for 25 Mins.
  • Glaze with condensed milk and serve with your favorite hot drink. Enjoy!
