Dola Chicken Tikka & Naan


  • 3 1/2 cups Unga wa Dola all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup milk


  • In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the oil and mix that in. Add the yogurt and milk a little at a time until it all comes together.
  • Take the dough out on a clean working surface and knead for 5-8 minutes. Return to the bowl and cover with a wet kitchen towel. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  • To make the naan, take a portion of the dough in your palm and roll. Place it on a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out to a thickness of 1/2 cm.
  • Place it on a hot skillet and flip it once the bubbles form. Cook for 1 minute on each side and take it off the heat.
  • Spread butter on the naan and sprinkle coriander leaves before serving.
