Dola Coconut Coated Donuts

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 Water
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 Cup Natural Yoghurt
  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Bicarbonate of Soda

Instructions

  • Mix 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 Water and melt on heat till it dissolves
  • In another pan, add 1 cup of Ghee, 1 Cup of Natural Yoghurt and heat to warm them
  • In a bowl, add 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour and 1 Tbsp. Bicarbonate of Soda and mix well. Add the yogurt mixture to the flour and knead for 10minutes
  • Mold the donuts with your hands and place them in hot oil for frying.
  • Fry till brown
  • Cool the donuts and dip them in syrup (prepared earlier)
  • Lastly, coat with desiccated coconut
  • Serve with a beverage of your choice and enjoy
