Dola Hangover Buster Chicken Soup

  • 500gms Chicken
  • 4 Mid Sized Potatoes
  • 2 Mid Sized Onions
  • 2 Mid Sized Carrots
  • 2 Tbsp Dola Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 800ml Water or more
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Unga Wa Dola All Purpose Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Natural Yoghurt/Mala
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Chopped Coriander

Instructions

  • In a pan, add in oil and sauté your vegetables for 5 mins. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add in the chicken and butter to sear on both sides. Add in your pre-sautéed vegetables, water, turmeric, salt and black pepper. Allow to simmer on low-medium heat for 50Mins.
  • In a bowl, mix in flour, yoghurt and yolk till nice and creamy. Add in two scoops of the soup and mix till well combined. Pour this mixture on the soup and gently stir allowing to boil for 5 Mins.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve alongside buns/bread. Enjoy!
