In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, sugar and oil. Allow to sit for 5 Mins. In a separate bowl, add in flour and cardamom powder then pour in the yeast mixture. Knead for 7-10 mins.
Cover and allow to proof for 30 Mins. Cut the dough into small balls and roll to 1/2’ thickness. Place your oil for frying on medium heat till hot then start frying your Mahamris till golden brown.
For Viazi Vya Nazi:
In a pan, add oil, onions and fry till translucent. Add in the sweet pepper, turmeric and ginger garlic. Fry till fragrant, then add in tomatoes and the rest of the spices. Add your potatoes, coconut milk, meat and water. Cover to cook and finish off with some coriander leaves.
