In a small bowl, add butter/margarine into milk and warm till it melts. Add in vanilla and oil into the mixture and set aside.
In another bowl, mix your eggs and sugar for 5-8 Mins till light and fluffy. Fold in the sifted dry ingredients mixture in 3 batches carefully folding in till it combines. Do not over mix. Then add in the milk mixture in 3 batches carefully folding it in to combine. Do not over mix.
Pour it in a greased baking tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 25-28 Mins or until it passes the toothpick test.
Allow to cool and slice to desired shape. Serve with some berries and your favorite hot drink. Enjoy!
