Dola Stuffed Donuts

  • 1 Cup Warm Milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Yeast
  • 3 Cups Dola All-Purpose Flour
  • Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Butter/Margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Cup Strawberries
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup Warm Milk, 1 1/2 Tbsp. Yeast, 3 Cups Flour, 1/2 Cup Sugar, 3 Tbsp. Butter/ Margarine, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Essence.
  • Add in the milk mixture and knead the dough
  • Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour
  • Roll the dough to a 1/2 inches thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut sizeable shapes of the dough
  • Cover to proof for 1 hour
  • Add oil to a pan and fry the dough till golden brown. Flip it to cook both sides
  • In another pan cook, 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup sugar and lemon juice
  • Cool and put in a piping bag
  • Make a hole in the donut and fill it with the strawberry stuffing.
