Meatball and Chapati

  • 500gms Minced Meat
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • Cooking Oil
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 can crushed Tomatoes
  • 1tbsp Coriander Cumin Powder
  • Pepper
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • ½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ Yoghurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups Unga wa Dola All-purpose Flour
  • Salt
  • Cooking Oil for brushing, extra flour for sprinkling before rolling
  • 3/4 cup water or as required
  • 3-5 tbsp oil for cooking

Instructions

  • In a bowl mix the minced meat, 1 tbsp coriander-cumin powder, salt, pepper and coriander leaves. Afterwards, make small balls with the mixture.
  • In a frying pan, fry the cumin seeds, the onion, the garlic, ginger, coriander-cumin powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and crushed tomatoes and water. Let it cook for 15 mins
  • Afterward, put the meat balls you had made earlier into the ‘soup’ and let it cook for 25 mins.
  • Add yogurt, cook 5 mins and garnish with coriander leaves (dhania)
