Strawberry Jam and Coconut Cake - Kitui Flour Mills Limited
Step 1

In a bowl mix 1 1/4 Cups of Flour, 1 Tsp Baking Powder, and a pinch of salt

Step 2

In a different bowl mix 4 eggs. 1/2 cups of sugar and beat for 5-7minutes till fluffy and 1 cup of melted butter, 4tsp of yoghurt, 1 Tsp of vanilla essence and mix again

Step 3

Add in the flour mixture and mix till smooth

Step 4

Grease your baking tin and the cake batter

Step 5

Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes

Step 6

Apply a coat of fruit jam to the cake and sprinkle the desiccated coconut too

Step 7

Slice the cake and enjoy it with a beverage of your choice.
