Meatball and Chapati Recipe

Ingredients

  • For Meatballs:
  • 500gms Minced Meat
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • Cooking Oil
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 can crushed Tomatoes
  • 1tbsp Coriander-Cumin Powder
  • Pepper
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • ½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ Yoghurt
  • 1 cup water
  • For Chapati:
  • 2 cups Unga wa Dola All-purpose Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking Oil for brushing, extra flour for sprinkling before rolling
  • 3/4 cup water, or as required
  • 3-5 tbsp oil, for cooking
Steps

  1. For the Meatballs:In a bowl mix the minced meat, 1 tbsp coriander-cumin powder, salt, pepper and coriander leaves. Afterwards, make small balls with the mixture.
  2. In a frying pan, fry the cumin seeds, the onion, the garlic, ginger, coriander-cumin powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and crushed tomatoes and water. Let it cook for 15 mins
  3. Afterwards, put the meat balls you had made earlier into the ‘soup’ and let it cook for 25 mins.
    Add yoghurt, cook 5 mins and garnish with coriander leaves (dhania)
