Mzinga wa Dola Recipe


  • 3 Cups Dola All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Yeast
  • ½ tbsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 tbsp. Margarine
  • 3 tbsp. Natural Yoghurt
  • Warm Milk
  • Cram Cheese
  • Condensed Milk

  1. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, yeast, salt, sugar, margarine, natural yoghurt, milk and knead for 8-10 mins. Cover and put in a warm place for 1 hour
  2. Pinch and for tiny balls from the dough. Fill in the middle with little cream cheese. Fill a bowl and cover the balls in a warm place for 30 mins
  3. Warm up a sufuria in the jiko and cover for 5 mins. Bake the bowl with the dough balls for 25-30 mins.
  4. Glaze with condensed milk
