Dola Banana Fritters

  • 2 Cups Unga Wa Dola All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Medium Bananas
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Flour (Optional For Extra Crunch)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • Masterchef Vegetable Oil for cooking

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix sugar, egg, vanilla essence, and cinnamon powder till frothy. Mash the bananas and mix them in gently.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, rice flour and baking powder. Add this to the egg mixture and stir in gently. Add in 1/2 cup of milk in bits as you gently mix the batter.
  • In a pan on low heat, brush oil and add small batches of the batter once the pan is hot so it cooks well.
  • Serve with chopped fruits or ice cream. Enjoy!
