Dola Fried Dough Balls

  • 4 Cups Unga Wa Dola All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Dola Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/2- 2 Cups Warm Water

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Add oil and water and knead for 10-15 Mins. Spread oil on the dough and cover for 1 Hour to bloom.
  • Punch the air out and begin to make small balls of equal sizes. Arrange them on an oiled tray with space between them and cover for 20 Mins.
  • Put the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Once the oil is ready, begin to fry your balls slowly. A lot of heat will make the balls turn golden brown fast but won’t cook through so the heat has to be medium.
  • Once ready, serve them with a hot cup of tea/coffee. Enjoy!
